Why did I choose my major?

When I was a child, I always wanted to work in something related to crafts and drawing, but as I grew up, I realized that careers in the art area are not highly valued, so in my last years in high school, I was investigating careers in the humanistic area, as well as in the scientific and health areas, but they never really interested me.

However, at the age of 17, when I decided to get orthodontics for aesthetic reasons, and there I discovered that dentistry could be a very good option, since it was a career that had a lot to do with the use of the hands and with the aesthetics of people, so I associated it directly with art, Then I started watching videos of dental treatments and I was more and more attracted to the career, until I finally decided that I would be a dentist, since it combines what I like with science and it is a much more valued career than art and it would provide me with a stable and functional quality of life.
